I started with coaching my son's basketball team a few years ago.

Starting point

The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a child's learning experience in Ottawa and to find out how we could make improvements.

Support from local communities

Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to the afterschool programs in Ottawa.

End result

Contextualizing the needs of Ottawa's youth, their parents, and their mentors helped us to construct a well-equipped, bright, and accessible place of community.
